Lordington Lavender nestles in a fold of the South Downs NW of Chichester and is believed to be the only lavender field in West Sussex.

The farm is managed with conservation and the environment in mind. The lavender field is surrounded by a wild flower meadow grown especially for bees and butterflies. Whilst annual arable flowers such as corn cockle, cornflower and corn marigold grow next to the crop. In summer the lavender field is full of the steady drone of bumble bees which themselves are becoming an endangered species.
